Single neck flask with round bottom and standard joint.
They are used as reaction vessels, equipped with a standard joint that allows connection to other elements of the apparatus or closed with a stopper. It has a white label field.
Round bottom flasks are used in laboratory techniques, for example distillation or extraction (using the Soxhlet apparatus). Due to their shape, they allow uniform heating, e.g. in heating jackets, of the substances contained therein and allow them to work under reduced pressure, e.g. vacuum distillation or use in vacuum evaporators.
The flask has excellent chemical and thermal resistance (including resistance to sudden temperature changes).
