ROTI®Prep gDNA MINI 2.0 was developed to isolate genomic DNA from a wide variety of starting materials.
The isolation is based on a new procedure and combines sample lysis with the subsequent binding of the DNA to the surface of a column membrane. After several washing and centrifugation steps, the DNA is eluted from the membrane using an elution buffer. The extraction procedure in this kit is optimised to achieve maximum yield.

Ethanol 99.8 % (p.a., order no. 9065), RNase free water (order no. 1HPE.1), TE buffer (order no. 1052.1) and PBS (order no. 1058.1) are not included in the kit and should be ordered separately if required.
Gebruikstip | For DNA extraction from harder or more complex samples (bacteria, fungi) we recommend preparing the sample with a suitable ROTI®SampleLyse tube (e.g. Art.No. 1YKE.1). For DNA extraction from plant tissue, we recommend ROTI®Prep Plant DNA (Art. No. 20H4.1). |
