50 ml/100 barModel 0 is the smallest autoclave in the ROTH range. Initially it was developed for preliminary tests at room temperature. It is the steel test tube for all preliminary tests where work is carried out under high pressure. It is the ideal and cost-effective alternative for situations where glass carius tubes may present a danger. Model 0 has a screw-on head with a threaded opening for fitting to equipment. The opening can be closed with a screw stopper. Sealed with PTFE gaskets (max. 180 °C) or pure silver gaskets (max. 300 °C). Depending on the scope of the autoclave system, delivery times may apply!

Due to the shape of the screw thread, cold setting of cylinder and head is possible when screwing these on. This usually leads to them sticking when opening and the thread breaking as a result. The conducted reaction necessitates coating the thread with a release agent such as PTFE spray (Art. No. K007.1).Warning: Do not use PTFE screw thread tape!
When working with silver gaskets, it is essential to tighten the screw threads very tightly to achieve the necessary seat. We therefore recommend annealing the silver gaskets at +850 °C before use - the gaskets remain softer and more pliable, even when cool, and seal more efficiently.
